NIKO STS EDEL B systems are double-walled, insulated and made of 0,6mm thick steel on the core (inner pipe) and stainless, 0,6mm thick steel on the cladding (outer pipe). Insulation thickness is 50mm. NIKO STS EDEL B is used to evacuate fumes produced by liquid-burning (oil, gas) as well as ecological solid fuels heating appliances which work in underpressure. It can also be used as a ventilation duct. NIKO STS EDEL B systems are fully corrosion-proof and can be used inside as well as outside of the building. All components joints are bell-and-spigot joints (with female-ending always upwards in case of the inner pipe, in case of outer pipe female-ending downwards).

NIKO STS EDEL B chimneys can be installed on the outer wall of the building, directly on the support plate with brackets fixed to the wall (support plate consists of condensate tray console and console brackets), or it can be rested directly on foundations with use of condensate tray console (base plate) only. In both cases chimney should be fixed to the wall with wall supports (one support every four meters, one of the supports must be located just above the T-joint). All wall supports and support plate are adjustable, which allows to regulate the distance between the wall and the chimney.

Access point should then be installed on the support plate. Access point allows user to clean the chimney. Pipes or T-joint should be installed above the access point, according to the height of the flue terminal. T-joint is used to connect flue terminal with the chimney. Mouth ending is the top component, which is used to encircle insulation located between the core and the cladding. Clamps are provided for each chimney component connection. If the chimney protrudes over 1m above the last wall support, all of the above connections should be secured with the wide clamp. Reduction double-walled/liner should be used if connecting single and double-walled systems. If the chimney is installed inside the building and it passes through the roof, the roof-plate supplied with the storm collar should be used. Roof-plates come with lead collars which allows to seal it with the roof tiles.

When assembling long chimney it is necessary to use support wall collars to relieve lower
parts of the chimney.

Chimney-sweep recommendations must be followed during assembly. Only plastic or
stainless steel tools must be used for chimney cleaning.
